Although many Christian music fans became acquainted with Silverline at the release of their last album, Lights Out -- which yielded several No. 1 singles -- the five-piece band had been together since forming in a basement in 1997 in Fort Ripley, Minnesota. Having shared the stage with some of the top bands in Christian music (P.O.D., Newsboys, TFK, RED, Sanctus Real, Hawk Nelson, etc.), Silverline developed a great live show.
These professional achievements were important to the band as a door opener to ministry because Silverline wasn’t just happy with accomplishments validating their ability, but rather paving the way for opportunities to share the life changing Gospel of Christ.
The band released two independent EPs called Silverline in 2007 and EP in 2008, and they released two with VSR Music Group called Start To Believe and Voices In The Night. Their lone full-length studio album, Lights Out, was released in 2013 with Dream Records.
In December 2014, Silverline announced that due to many factors, including spending quality time with their growing families, the band was ending its run.

I've been a fan of Silverline since the first time I heard Voices in the Night. I saw them at a summer festival a couple years ago and was hooked. You guys have a great sound and the new album is great. Keep up the good work.

They kind of sound like Abandon. I've only heard one song by them it was pretty good. They're coming to my town trying to decide whether to go or not...
