Samara C. Pals is a singer-songwriter of worship music based in Georgia. Her music radiates heartfelt compassion, nurture, and faith, reflecting God's inspiring light and tenderness.
Growing up in a small town in Iowa, her family, along with her community, nurtured her faith in God and her love of music from a young age. After many years of participating in local church and music programs, Samara began to study Classical Voice and earned a degree in music from Northwestern University. It was there that she began to sense God's direction to write songs which allowed her to combine her faith and artistry into one converging passion.
After losing her dad to cancer, Samara got to a place where she could no longer sing. In that difficult season, God taught Samara to entrust her path to Him, everything from people to plans and hopes to dreams. By surrendering to God's healing touch, she began to write songs to move through those dark years in her life.
Now an accomplished singer and songwriter, Samara has found a renewed voice full of warmth and hope. She released her first three singles in 2016 (One, Mighty and Found) followed by her initial EP in 2017, Guarded by God. During the pandemic in 2020, she recorded her first studio album, Prisoner of Hope, released in 2021, marking the five year anniversary of yet another difficult season during which she lost eight family members and friends in a two-year period.
Samara C. Pals is based in Trilith, Georgia, by way of Iowa, Chicago, Vienna, Atlanta and Washington, D.C., where she serves on the worship team in her local church and spends her non-studio time with her husband, Andy, and their English Bulldog, Hattie. The songstress will be releasing a new single inspired by Mary's story called "Let It Be" in 2023 for the Easter season with more to come in 2023 off her upcoming Christmas project.
