I love it| Posted December 24, 2007
I absolutely love this CD! Jessie Daniels is great. I first heard her on the radio, with her song "The Noise." I didn't know who she was yet, but I knew I loved the song and would love the artist too. Later, when I discovered her name, I bought her CD. One of my favorites is "Hold Me Now." That song is really beautiful. It is, like she said, a worship song. I didn't like the remix to it as much but it was still pretty. "What I Hear" is my mom's favorite song on the CD.
Surprisingly Great!| Posted September 18, 2007
I first heard Jessie's song "Everyday" on the NRT myspace page when she was the challenger for the week. I ended up going to her myspace page and listening to more of her songs. I was hooked and knew I had to buy the cd! I had never heard of her until then, but I knew that I had discovered a great new artist. I really loved "What I Hear" and "What Happened". Another good one was "It's No Wonder" that deals with broken relationships-I thought it was very well written and something pretty much everyone can relate to at one point in time or another. "Hold Me Now" was one I really related to and the song I like to listen to when I feel like God is the only person in the world who understands my pain-the acoustic track to this one is also very enjoyable. The only down side to this cd is the song "Human Being". I really just did not like the lyrics and the beat of the song in general. Other than that, Jessie has a pretty solid album! I look forward to hearing her next album!

this cd is alright, but nothing really stands out to me a whole lot. it's just like everything else, but there are some good songs on the album.
Jessie Daniels a suprise hidden gem debut....| Posted August 19, 2007
I work in the Christian music industry so I hear A LOT of new music each day, week, month, and year. Jessie Daniels is one of the most pleasant recent suprise artists I've encountered. I heard a few of her songs on air and they really got stuck in my head, then I acquired the album and listened to it all the way through. It really rocks! She's fresh, young, rockin', encouraging! She's one of my favorite chick rockers in Christian music right now! Young people would love this one! Her songs are so catchy! She has a great vocal range! I love every song on this album! I hope you will take the time to check out this awesome up and coming artist for yourself!
Jessie Daniel's voice shines in the Pop/Rock scene| Posted August 11, 2007
I was really impressed with this album. Jessie has an amazing voice and can reach those high notes. She has great rock songs with great lyrics. She deals a lot with boy/girl relationships-but usually songs about the breakup.
My favorite songs on this album are "What I hear", "Hello/Goodbye", "Hold Me Know" (Remixed version), "Everyday" and "Stand Out". For some reason I really hate the song "Next To You". I don't know why, I just do. There is something about it that makes you want to hate it. But that's probably just me.
This album definitly deserves the four stars I gave it. But there is already so many pop/rock girl groups out there it's hard when comparing. But at least Jessie is more mature than most of them.
one of few| Posted July 24, 2007
this is one of the few female vocalists that i like. she has a great voice, great music, and great lyrics. i'd definitely listen to the song Everyday.
