Amazing!!! | Posted February 07, 2009
I am amazed as I was watching the DVD version of this concert that Toby is around 40 years old, yet he has the energy of a 20 year old. With that out of the way, I am pleased to say that this live release is amazing. The CD version is good. Had decent sound but the real star of the show is the DVD. It captures the live energy perfectly. The DVD also comes with a 1-hour behind the scenes documentary where Toby talks about what he and his band do backstage and he also introduces each member of his band and also tells us how they ended up being in the band. This is one live combo that nobody should miss.

cool experience | Posted January 10, 2009
Personally I don't usually like live cd's,but "Alive and Transported" by tobymac is a huge exception.Give it live cd's don't have the same sound as a studio cd,which I usually can't stand,I was really surprised at the songs that sounded better live such as "Love is in the House" and "Boomin" which I especially love Shonlock's verse. This cd is a must have for tobymac fans, live cd fans, and well pretty much anyone else who enjoys music.

WOW. That's all I can really say about this cd/dvd. It has so much soul to and the music is incredible. At first I thought it was goin' to be terrible but when I watched the dvd and listened to the cd my tune changed. It's worth every penny I had. It's incredible and I am startin' to be a HUGE fan of TobyMac. I love this cd!

TOBY LIVE!!! | Posted August 08, 2008
This is incredible!! If you have see Toby live you know that he puts on an incredible show. From beginning to end it is pure energy! This year at Alive, Gabe Real accidently kicked Toby in the face and he kept on singing with blood dripping off his chin!! Rock ON!! I really don't like live albums that sound just like the studio album with clapping. Toby has reimagined ever song and given them a twist. It's like a brand new show every time. Only negative comment is the camerawork on the DVD left me dizzy and nauseous.

The CD is great but watching the DVD is like being at the concert, the energy, the dancing, the light show, the spiritual feeling is awesome. Each time you watch it, you want more! the CD is equally waesome play them both LOUD for the full effect :-)

This cd/dvd is really great.
If you haven't seen Toby in concert,
then you should check it out!
For a live performance, the sound was great,
and the concert was awesome. There is also bonus footage on the dvd too. It was really nice to hear and watch some of my favorite toby songs, I loved watching him perform the 1996 DC-Talk hit "Jesus Freak", and it was nice to listen to him speak in between songs. Worth buying, 5 stars!
