End Of Grey [edit]
by Decyfer Down | Genre: Hard Rock/Metal | Release Date: June 06, 2006

End of Grey, the debut from melodic hard rockers "Decyfer Down," is a sonic stew of anthem-sized songs packed with ringing guitars that melt and morph into vicious riffs. Filled with searching and waiting, honesty and hope, End of Grey is an explosive album for those who like their music hard and the message solid.

Okay Start | Posted March 03, 2008
This album started off great then kind of tailed off in the middle. There songs at the beginning were awesome and then the songs towards the middle were as good. Overall it was a good album.

Decyfer This | Posted February 26, 2008
Decyfer Down is one of the best hard rock Christian bands I have heard in a long time. This CD is a MUST for fans of this music genre. With songs such as "Fight Like This", "Burn Back The Sun", "No Longer" and my favorite song on this CD,"Walking Dead",this is a Cd you will never tire of hearing. I can't wait to see them live when they come to Texas. The vocals on this CD are great as well as the lyrics.

How did I miss this one? | Posted February 26, 2008
I can't believe I didn't review End of Gray sooner. Oh well- better late than never. Fans of post-grunge will appreciate this album for the music alone, but End of Gray runs far deeper. Melodic tunes such as Life Again, Burn Back the Sun, No Longer, and Walking Dead take an introspective look at our relationship to Christ, and our answer to His call. And the heavy riffs of Break Free and Fight Like This complement the rallying cry of the songs. The vocals are strong and crisp throughout the album, and across all spectrums, the mood, message, and music blend perfectly.

Strong debut, and an overall great album. I originally bought it for Break Free and Fight Like This and ended up liking every song.

Now that's some debut album! Let's see what they bring to the table with their second release! | Posted July 29, 2007
WOW, this group has quickly become a mainstay in my cd player. Great sounds and lyrics from this North Carolina based band. They have no problem mentioning God's change in their lives through their music or by interview and God has truly brought them threw a great deal. Easily a 5 star rating and highly recommended.

Three songs to pay close attention to are:
1) Walking Dead
2) Vanity
3) No Longer

With the last having great meaning for this follower of Christ who no longer has to look back on my failures in life!

Matthew 19:26 - "But Jesus beheld [them], and said unto them, With men this is impossible; but with God all things are possible."

I regret... | Posted July 17, 2007
...not listening to these guys sooner. They have a surprisingly hardrock sound which is always a plus for me. Each song is unique and catchy in it's own way.

Decyfer Down deserves to be recognized with bands like Skillet and Blindside.
