I really like Leeland. I think I might like this cd better than their second one... I havn't decided yet. Some of my favorite songs off this cd are "Sound of Melodies", "Tears of the Saints", and "Yes You Have".

Leeland's Best Album! | Posted May 19, 2008
Okay, this is a little late... I have already got Opposite Way. But Sound of Melodies is great, dare I say greatER than Opposite Way. Everyone loves the title track and "Tears of the Saints", and I do too. But the song "Hey" is great, the song was a huge hit at Student Life a few years back.

...was the first song i ever heard of them.
and i fell in love instantly.
like not even a minute or two in the song i put it on repeat and barely took it off.
tears from the saints is my second favorite.

Leeland has an amazing talent and an amazing heart for the Lord. They have chosen to use music to glorify Him and bring others closer to Him.

Best Debut Ever | Posted February 14, 2008
I can't decide whether "Sound Of Melodies" or "All That Is Within Me" is my favorite album. Whether "Sound Of Melodies" is my favorite record or not it doesn't change the fact that this album is pure genius. Leeland Mooring's voice works perfectly with the music his bandmates put out. From top to bottom this album is incredible. My favorite track is the catchy "Lift Your Eyes". More great songs are: "Sound of Melodies", "Yes You Have", the compassionate "Tears of The Saints", "Hey", "How Wonderful", and the tender "Carried To The Table". Great music and an important message, this is worship the way it should be done. I can't wait for "Opposite Way".

I didn't know a 19 year old could touch the heart of a 49 year old.

Excellent! | Posted January 28, 2008
In their debut, Leeland shows their maturity in the lyrics they write, and in their melodies. In their closing track, Carried to the Table, songwriter Leeland Mooring shows his true maturity as a songwriter with incredible lyrics and catchy melodies. Yes You Have shows a lighter side, with an incredible concept and lines like, "you've stolen my heart, yes you have." With an excellent debut, Leeland is well on their way to popularity in the industry. They've got my attention!

This cd was referred to me by a friend and i'm kinda glad it was. This cd was great! Very nice songs with very nice lyrics. I love every song on this cd but my 2 favorite would have to be "Beautiful Lord" and "Can't Stop". Those 2 just catch me the most. Again an amazing cd!
