Ministry is what defines Casting Crowns. All of the members are still active in local church ministry in spite of the over 200 concert appearances they have made over the last 2 years. Mark Hall, in fact, is still employed as the youth pastor at his home church, although he has had to hire some additional help due to his hectic schedule

From the anthemic title cut to the moving ballad, "Praise You In the Storm," this new album is once again an unapologetic collection of messages targeting the church.
"All of life is worship. If we're not careful we will 'praise worship' and 'worship praise.' We begin to look at worship as an experience when, in reality, our corporate worship is simply the culmination of the life we should be living all week long. The songs on this new album try to look at what a life of worship looks like. Whether we are called to 'Praise God in this Storm' or simply 'Love Them Like Jesus' we must begin to see all of life as about Him and not us. That is what we want to say to the church this time around."

This is another great CD. Music with a meaning as I like to call it!All the songs are great!
Favorite song: "Lifesong". It's a reminder that we should be living our lives for God and God alone, and boy do we all need reminders sometimes(especially me)!

This is an incredibly awesome album. This is one of my all-time favorite albums.
I enjoy every song on this album, which is rare. It's not often when I run across an album like that. Some I like better than others, but I like them all.
"Lifesong" is a classic Casting Crowns song. "Praise You in this Storm" and Set Me Free" well, the Titles speak for themselves. Great song!!! "Does Anybody Hear Her" is one of my favorites. Sometimes the Church misses what is really important and we can't really see the hurting world all around us. Incredible video to this song. "Stained Glass Masquerade" is a great song dealing with hurting people within the Church. Another great song! The "Prodigal" is also a great song for anyone struggling. God will take you back!!! "And Now my Lifesong concludes the album. It is short, but I love it!!! Their are several other really good songs on the album like "Love Them Like Jesus."
This is an alround GREAT album that I highly recommend! If you every get the chance to see them in person, GO!!! As far as I'm concerned, Mark Hall is as good, if not the best songwriter out there today. He can say more in 2 sentences, than many preachers can in a whole serman. They music has been a big influence in my life and has helped get me through some of lifes most difficult times.
Keep on doing it Casting Crowns!!! Stay humble!!!God will reward you for the great work you are doing!!

This album is just as good if not better than their first. I dint think they could top their first album but they did. This is another collection of great songwriting with very powerful lyrics. Standout tracks are "Lifesong" "Praise You in the Storm" and "Does Anybody Hear Her." For Everyone who loves great music. The songs really turn your eyes to God and your walk with him.

When i first listened to this CD the sound was pretty good, but when i got into the lyrics and what they were saying i flipped!!! I love this group and this is my favorite CD of theres. I own one myself, so i highly recommend this band!!!

Casting Crowns is my favorite band of all time.The C.D Lifesong has some pretty good beats andsome of the songs just touch my heart.Though it isn't my favorite C.D from them, I love it.
