Sanctus Real Debuts Strongly | Posted May 14, 2010
Sanctus Real's national debut was definitely a strong and memorable release. It may not have been the band's strongest effort, but it was still good.

It's easy to enjoy rockers like "Captain's Chair," or the title track. And songs like "Audience of One," and "All I Want," earn their place on your playlist.

The band can slow it down too, with gems like "Hey Wait," and the stripped down "I Love You." The closing track "After Today," also offers a look at the band's slower side while eventually building in intensity as the song progresses.

Stay until the end, there's a comedic little 'hidden' surprise after the last track.

All in all, there is much to love about Sanctus Real's national debut. It isn't their best, and is arguably their least exciting record, but with a band this good, even their least exciting work is still awesome.

Great Debut | Posted March 02, 2010
Say It Loud is an amazing debut and the raw rock and deep lyrics it will be very hard to repeat or do better than this CD. While Sanctus Real will always be good this is them at their finest.

Wowee!! | Posted December 27, 2008
This is one amazing debut from these guys. All of the songs here are full of vigorous energy and the lyrics actually have meaning. This is the album where you can experiance the old-school Sanctus Real sound. A few classic songs are found on this album like "Say It Loud," and "Nothing to Hide." This is one album that nobody should pass up.

Great debut album! | Posted February 22, 2008
By now Sanctus Real is a very well known band, but their consistency is shown in their first album which has a great feel to it. They never cease to amaze with their great lyrics and catchy songs. This album doesn't have quite as many as their later albums, but they're still there. My favorite songs are: "Captains Chair", "Say it Loud", "Audience of One", and "Nothing to Lose". (There's also a fun little bonus track Called "Jesus Metal: Slam the Devil" that I wish was longer, but it's a nice addition) I highly encourage you to pick up this album if you get a chance. Also, since it's an older album you have a high likelihood of finding it discounted; so that's a plus too!
