Slowly Going the Way of the Buffalo is the fourth full album released by punk rock/pop-punk band MxPx in 1998. The album title was taken from a letter that a fan had written to the band, complaining that the band was changing, and, "Slowly Going the Way of the Buffalo". The band addresses this on their DVD, B-Movie. The album went gold on January 27, 2000.
"I'm OK, You're OK" previously appeared on The Cootees' album Let's Play House, which featured Mike on guitar and vocals and Tom on drums. Since it is performed by the original writers of the song, it is considered a remake instead of a cover.

Now this is the MxPx we all know and love| Posted December 27, 2008
This 1998 album really showcases the MxPx that we remember. This album is the last album they put out in the 90's and they sure didn't disappoint. One of the better punk albums I have heard yet.
