The past Janeal thought had burned away is rising from the ashes.
Years ago, the Gypsy Kumpania where Janeal Mikkado lived was attacked by outsiders. With her best friend about to be consumed by a fire, Janeal had two options: try to save her friend--at serious risk to her own life--or disappear with the million dollars that she had just discovered...
But the past is quickly come back to haunt her. Both the best friend and the boyfriend that she was
sure were dead have reappeared in her life, as has someone who knows about the money. There's a
debt to be paid for the money she found, but there's an even greater debt she must face--and if the chaff isn't burned from her own heart, it will consume her.

This will be a short review.
Burn has everything. Action, romance, revenge, thrills, etc. It's a little better then Kiss. If you have read any of Ted Dekker's previous books, you'll know how the end will turn out. But it sure is an entertaining ride.

A thought provoking, hope filled, suspense full of redemption. A battle of human nature; good vs evil. Burn is a must have for those who love mystery, confrontation between good and evil and romance.
An incredible book| Posted February 05, 2010
This is another amazing book from Ted Dekker! One of the reasons it's so good is that it makes you think. It shows that no matter what you have done there is always a second chance that God will give you. There is enough suspense, mystery, and intrigue to mark it as a Ted Dekker book, also. At the end of the book, as I was finishing it, I was close to tears, it was that good.
Yet Another...| Posted January 19, 2010
amazing book by Ted Dekker and Erin Healy. After going about six months without a Ted Dekker novel to read, I was so excited to experience this one. I say experience rather than read, because that is what you do when you read Dekker. The plot of this book, just like everything else he has written, was amazing. I love this novel as much as I loved Thr3e, and this one has almost the same concept, but it's different. Burn was a great read, and I couldn't put it down. The character of Janeal was so deep and thorough, it almost felt like you actually know her.
To sum up: Great book, awesome plot, amzing author, go read it.
