In the last decade Adrian Rowse, has communicated and performed to an audience exceeding quarter of a million people in more than eleven hundred school seminars, church services, camps, conferences, youth events, workshops and festivals.
Adrian is an accomplished communicator/performer/worship leader, whether ministering one-on-one, running workshops with 20 people, speaking to youth groups and churches of any size or leading worship with multi-thousand audiences. His experience with Youth Alive Victoria includes leading worship at several Youth Alive Victoria events with up to 12,000 people at Rod Laver Arena, Luna Park and Festival Hall. Adrian has also performed at major festivals including the Australian Gospel Music Festival and Blackstump.
Fuelled by a struggle with his sexuality during his teenage years Adrian is passionate about lifting the lid on the issue of sexuality. Adrian says, 'Young people suffer in silence and our churches are crippled because of the lack of honest, real discussion on these issues'. An accomplished singer/songwriter/worship leader, Adrian uses a combination of humour, stories, biblical teaching and personal testimony to help churches, youth ministries and young people begin talking about sexuality-related issues in a healthy and life-giving way. In addition, Adrian uses original songs to both communicate his personal story of sexual brokenness and to draw people to experience God and the outpouring of His grace in an intimate and meaningful encounter.
Adrian's debut solo album, 'Up Close', produced by Phil Gaudion of Paul Colman Trio fame, has been well received in his homeland Australia, with radio singles 'Ride' and 'Faithful' both scoring top 30 slots in Australia's national Christian music chart, 'The Rock Across Australia'.
A talented communicator, Adrian's career has focused on helping people reach their full potential in God. Not only the brainchild behind the popular youth website GUSH, Adrian spent many years touring Australian as front-man for high school ministry band Corazon.
Following a recent stint studying at Tabor Bible College and working as pastors in a Melbourne church, Adrian and his wife Chelsea, pioneered the organisation, 'Roundabout Ministries', in order to provide hope and direction to a generation of sexually broken young people. In late 2006, Adrian released his first major DVD resource, 'The Fight', a 30 day journey that equips Christian guys to stand strong in a sexually saturated world. Adrian and Chelsea are part of a church community in Melbourne's eastern suburbs.
