Monique Terez is a contemporary Christian music singer-songwriter from the beautiful islands of the Bahamas. Blessed with a strong yet soothing voice, she has definitely developed a sound of her own.
Passionate about seeing lives and hearts transformed by the presence of God, she is currently serving on the worship team at her local church. She has also earned various nominations for her heart-felt singing and songwriting, including the Caribbean Gospel Award and the Bahamian Cacique Award Nominations.
As a child, Monique grew up in an environment hearing her father (who is a pianist) play gospel, calypso, jazz and classical music around the house.
She started singing in primary school and continued singing throughout high school and college along with various bands, worship teams and choirs. In the past, she has also had the opportunity of serving as the youth ministry worship leader at her local church.
Monique’s debut EP- “Your Love” is filled with inspiring lyrics and gripping melodies that encourage listeners to never give up, to fulfill their purpose here on earth , to draw closer to God and to find refuge in Him.
“My prayer is that these songs will be a source of hope and encouragement for anyone who listens. Sometimes our daily lives are like riding a roller coaster with many ups and downs as well as terrifying, happy and exciting moments. Over the years I’ve realized that as everything seems to be changing around us, there is one constant and that’s Gods love for us.
Psalm 86:15 says...."But you , O Lord, are a God merciful and gracious slow to anger and abounding in steadfast love and faithfulness. “Your Love” is a reminder of the magnitude of Gods infinite love for us. God showed his love by sending his one and only Son to die on the cross for our sins. (John 3:16) I believe that God is calling the Body of Christ to boldly and incessantly declare the message of His Love ,now more than ever”. - Monique

Monique Terez you have such an amazing gift from God. Your EP is really great. I purchased it off of iTunes and I added it to my playlist on Spotify. You were recommended by a friend to take a listen and I am so happy that I did! I would recommend everyone to listen to your EP. Every song on the EP touched my heart. My favorite song off of it is a track titled "I AM". I must say it is so powerful. Keep up the great work Monique. I just happened to pop up on this artist as a suggestion on Youtube. I was listening to Leeland and Monique Terez cover of Leeland's song "Where you are" came up as a suggested listen. Her cover of "Where you are" was beautiful. I then went on to stream her EP "Your Love" on Spotify and I must say it is a beautiful EP. Her EP is definitely worth the purchase, stream and listen. I wish that i can hear her music on the radio; people needs to hear this anointed music. I cannot wait for her full album. NRTeam can you add Monique Terez's song "Don't Give Up" to your radio playlist, I'm sure that it would touch many people. Monique Terez if you see this no pun intended, but "Don't give up" keep pushing through and God will guide your path. Your music will definitely be heard by the masses.

Monique Terez is an amazing artist. Her voice, message, and music needs to be heard around the world. Her message of not giving up and God's unfailing love needs to be heard on all airways. Every song on this young ladies EP is amazing. While on youtube, Monique Terez was a suggested listen. After listening to the entire EP, tears of joy came down. A message of hope,confidence, compassion, never giving up, and God's love pounded in my heart and soul. Whoever produced this EP did an amazing job. All of the songs are amazing but the three that stood out were: "I AM", "Don't Give UP" and "Hearts of Compassion". She needs to be heard and definitely needs to be heard by the masses. Great Artist. Great EP! Cannot wait for her full album!
