116 Clique is a little known group of Christian Rap artists. Featuring the likes of LeCrae, Trip Lee, Tedashii, Flame, and many more. Some of their albums include The Compilation Album, and 13 Letter. Their albums are incredibly diverse and are definitely worth checking out. The 116 Clique (pronounced one-one-six click) is a Christian hip hop group from Dallas, Texas signed to Reach Records. It consists of mostly Reach Records' artists. The 116 Clique is named after the Bible verse Romans 1:16. "For I am not ashamed of the gospel: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believes; to the Jew first, and also to the Gentile." For them it means acknowledging the power of the Gospel and to proclaim it in every area of their life. "We can lay our lives down to serve and glorify God in everything we do." After the initial The Compilation Album (2005), DJ Primo remixed the original recordings into The Compilation Album : Chopped & Screwed : Special Edition. The remix album was released in 2006 and included four bonus tracks. In April 2007, 116 Clique released their second full length album," 13 Letters", an album in which they broke down the 13 Pauline Epistles. There is also a curriculum for the 13 Letters Album under Reach Life Ministries In August 2007, they released a remix album entitled, "Amped" a fusion of rock and rap. The 116 Clique is composed of many talented artists whose number one mission is to spread the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

This group is very talented and relevant for this generation. I think although they are not my favorite band, they certainly have some potential! Keep at it guys!

    Very catchy! | Posted September 23, 2009
I wasn't prepared to enjoy this group as much as I do. Rap and Hip Hop are extremely universal in this culture, used for athletic events, advertising, motivational purposes, etc. One could easily incorporate this music into a variety of situations. Very blatant messages. I like it.
