THE NAME
1 Peter 2:11
"Dear friends, I urge you, as aliens and strangers in the world, to abstain from sinful desires, which war against your soul."
SCOTT WILDERMAN (lead singer, harmonica)
"I was born in Huntington Beach, California.
My musical influences were a lot of the Old School R&B guys like Sam Cooke, Otis Redding, Jackie Wilson, Percy Sledge etc.
After many years of living my life in reckless abandon using drugs and alcohol, God got a hold of me through an unusual encounter where I found myself in a little church experiencing the power of God for the first time. Shortly thereafter I was baptized and the rest is history."
TUI LETULI (electric guitar)
"I was born in Los Angeles but I was raised in American Samoa.
My musical influences were Kalapana and Cecilio and Kapono on the Polynesian side and Earth Wind and Fire, Crosby Still and Nash, Lee Ritenour and Larry Carlton on the American side.
I was working as a stuntman/actor in the movie industry as well as a professional musician when through the prayers of my wife, family and friends, I fully surrendered my life to Jesus.
Singing and playing for his glory is one the greatest privileges of my life."
ALAN KISAKA (vocals, acoustic guitar)
"I was born in Uganda, East Africa.
My musical inluences include Franco, Rochereau, Manu Dibango and The Cranes on the African side to Harry Belafonte, Crosby Stills & Nash, The Doobie Brothers, Earth Wind and Fire, Andrae Crouch on the American side.
My father (John F. Kisaka) was an educator (Sec Gen of Uganda Teachers Assoc) and also loved music, so I was sensitized to many styles and genres at an early age.
My interest in writing and playing began at around the age of 14 when my father bought me my first guitar. I came to know about the gospel around this time through my brother. It was not long after that I became a committed christian and started to write and play music for God."
