We Shot The Moon is a pop rock band based out of San Diego, California. They are the brainchild of Jonathan Jones, the former lead singer of the now defunct band Waking Ashland. When they called it quits in July of 2007, Jonathan kept writing in hopes of continuing his career in music, and thus We Shot The Moon was formed.
Performing as a four-piece rock group, the band delivers a top level performance of piano rock songs. Their music has been said to possess "shades of Coldplay, The Fray and Jimmy Eat World." We Shot The Moon have toured show dates with acts including: The Fray, Augustana, 3OH!3, One Republic, and Jacks Mannequin.
