Ahh, love. It's a beautiful thing. And in some cases, it's a very musical thing. There are a lot of husband-wife teams in Christian music, and in 2017 especially there seem to be more and more up-and-coming duos. Here are a few of our favorites. Did another delightful pair not make the list who deserves to be on it? Post a comment below!
1. Austin & Lindsey Adamec
Former 1 Girl Nation member Lindsey Ciresi and solo artist Austin Adamec are slowly but surely becoming a power couple in Christian music. The duo, both worship leaders in their own right, is passionate about celebrating the victory we have in Christ through their vertical pop-tinted tunes. Austin and Lindsey released their debut self-titled EP last year, featuring six new worship songs focused on practicing the presence of God, and are now returning with their anthemic new single "Victorious."
2. Out Of The Dust
With a mix of indie, pop and folk stylings, new husband/wife duo Out Of The Dust describe themselves as a "vulnerable portrait of the brokenness and uncertainty found in the human experience" that still "offers hope and redemption to an aching world." As their debut self-titled album dropped in early March, Chris and Stephanie Teague offer a message of restoration in their music with many of the new songs birthed from a difficult time in their life that saw the couple go through a separation and divorce, ultimately finding miraculous redemption in remarriage. Their story of heartbreak and healing woven through each part of the new album, Out Of The Dust is a duo that will no doubt bring hope to many listeners.
3. Jonathan David & Melissa Helser
Most known for their powerful anthem "No Longer Slaves," Jonathan David and Melissa Helser have been part of the Bethel Music team since 2014. With a deep passion for worship, the couple have a strong desire to see this generation encounter the love of God in a rich way. Part of furthering that passion, their latest album Beautiful Surrender saw the duo heavily involved in the writing process as well as carefully crafting harmonies and alternating vocals in each track. In addition to their music ministry, the Helsers also facilitate a multi-generational ministry called A Place for the Heart in North Carolina where they lead a school and devote their lives to discipleship.
The new project of former Flyleaf guitarist Jared Hartmann and his wife Kat, Kat+Jared are set to release their debut EP on February 3. A couple who is no stranger to life on the road, the first eight years of their marriage revolved around music as Jared toured with Flyleaf. Now on their own, their first worship project is a collection of songs that chronicle the journey they've been on together while still bringing listeners into the presence of Christ. Both serving as worship leaders at Bethel Church in Temple, TX, Kat+Jared have a strong passion to help people discover the life that comes through God and spending time with Him.
Mike Grayson, formerly of worship band Mikeschair, and Molly Reed, formerly of pop duo City Harbor, married in 2013 and shortly after decided that being on the road separately wasn't working for them. They then made the difficult decisions to step away from their respective groups and created a duo of their own: Grayson|Reed. Their first project together, a 6-song EP Walk, released early this year and is already garnering attention from listeners with their debut single "Fight For You." Mike and Molly's voices mesh perfectly together, crafting a seamless mix of the stylistic approaches they both bring to the table and leaving fans excited to see what comes next from the veteran couple.
6. Love & The Outcome
Canadian band Love & The Outcome is made up of wife Jodi King and husband Chris Rademaker. The duo has a pretty incredible story about giving everything to pursue their calling, including selling all their possessions and living in a van before being signed to Word Records. They released their self-titled debut pop/worship album in August 2013 to critical acclaim. They have toured with WinterJam a number of times since then, and are expecting their first child very soon.
7. JJ & Dave Heller JJ Heller met fellow musician and her future husband, Dave, during her sophomore year in college. The couple soon began playing music together and have continued ever since. Although JJ is billed as a solo artist, they're very much a dynamic duo. The two co-write many songs together and Dave now tours with JJ as a background vocalist/guitar player. They have two daughters named Lucy and Nora.

10. Jeremy & Adie Camp
When Jeremy Camp's first wife Melissa died from cancer only months into their marriage, his world was flipped upside down. A few years later on tour, he met The Benjamin Gate frontwoman Adrienne Liesching and the two forged a close relationship. The Benjamin Gate disbanded soon after and the couple has done music together on occasion since then. Adie has sung on several of Jeremy's albums and often does shows with him. Jeremy and Adie married in 2003 and have three children--daughters Isabella Rose and Arianne Mae and a son, Egan Thomas.
11. Brad & Rebekah
They've been leading worship together since 2003 and have spent the past 7 years traveling full-time to share their music. In addition to their musical pursuits, husband-wife duo Brad & Rebekah are passionate about international missions work and have been providing musical training to kids in Uganda.
12. Seth & Nirva
What do you get when you take two sought-after background vocalists and give them a collaborative side project all their own? Seth & Nirva. Best known for her spot in TobyMac's Diverse City band, Nirva Ready and her husband, Seth, are on a new journey with their own music. The two have been married for over eight years and say they are much more dynamic together. They have released one independent record together, and have a new worship project (their first label release) coming this year.
13. The Gray Havens
Dave and Licia Radford aren't your run of the mill husband-wife musical act. The come armed with a gritty, indie vibe that is turning lots of heads--inside and outside of Christian music. With a hefty college following and lots of mainstream interest, 2016 looks to be a big year for the pair from Crystal Lake, Ill.
14. Joey + Rory
They're well-loved in the Christian, Country and Southern Gospel music circles, and it's easy to see why. Joey + Rory Feek exude tremendous faith, musical prowess and attractive Southern sensibilities. They most recently released Hymns That Are Important To Us, and it comes at a time when Joey is in the end stages of terminal colorectal cancer. The world is watching as the Feeks publicly live out their faith in the midst of a heart-wrenching time. Despite Joey's being bedridden, Rory is gearing up for a special Valentine's Day that will virtually walk her through their love story with pictures, videos and more.
15. Eric & Monique Eric & Monique would describe themselves simply as "married singer-songwriters and missionaries spreading the gospel through word and song." What began in 2008 as a marriage between a youth pastor and high school teacher soon morphed into a marriage shaped by a love of music and a passion for Christ. The couple has traveled extensively around the world to share their music and continues to share the Gospel to anyone who will listen.
16. Keith & Kristyn Getty
Irish modern hymn writers Keith & Kristyn Getty were married on June 16, 2004. They tour internationally, visit well-known venues around the world, make television performances, and have released several studio albums. They're most widely known for their massively popular song, "In Christ Alone," which has been sung in countless churches and covered by many different artists. Keith & Kristyn have three daughters--Eliza Joy, Charlotte Juliana, and Grace Alexandra.
17. Jeromy & Jennifer Deibler (FFH)
Jeromy and Jennifer Deibler, better known as FFH, formed "Far From Home" in 1993. After a long 20 years in Tennessee, the couple recently moved westward to California to begin a new season of life. Though their group isn't active anymore, they certainly are, as they're parenting their two children, Hutch and Sadie-Claire.
18. Caleb + Kelsey Grimm
Another former 1 Girl Nation member, Kelsey Grimm, and current Anthem Lights singer Caleb Grimm have formed a side project, simply named Caleb + Kelsey. The two, married in 2014, first started by doing YouTube covers that attracted fans across the country. With great production and even better harmonies, the videos captured the attention of anyone who would listen and although no album is on the horizon yet, fans can still get their fill of Caleb + Kelsey's music through their YouTube channel.
