Ordinary Dreamers [edit]
by Group 1 Crew | Genre: Rap/Urban | Release Date: September 16, 2008

Dove Award-winning artist Group 1 Crew truly had one busy year supporting their debut album. Their songs were heard on several television programs (One Tree Hill, Run's House, The Simple Life and more), they performed for over 300,000 on the 2008 Winter Jam Tour and in the middle of it all, recorded their highly-anticipated follow-up album Ordinary Dreamers. Long-time advocates for dreaming and experiencing the plans that God has for His people, Group 1 Crew aptly address this theme in their new album. Manwell explains, "An ordinary dreamer is simply a person who has seen a glimpse of their opportunity for greatness, and has allowed the God of the universe to perfect that bleak vision of potential, into the image of His beautiful glory." Their new album showcases their signature style and sound in 14 catchy dance-like tunes.

Makes me wanna dance! | Posted December 28, 2009
I love this cd! Every time I hear I just wanna get up and dance! Not only is the music great but it has some great songs lyrically too. I love how honest they are. A few of my favorite tracks are Closer, I See You, Living the Life, Change, and I Had a Dream.

i'd give this one TEN stars!! | Posted December 26, 2009
kk, so im not gonna go over every single song cause it would make this a REALLY long review that no one would read. but let me say this: what i love the most about this album is that practically EVERY SINGLE SONG is a MASTERPIECE!!!!!! like, the sound is EXTREMELY original and unique....group 1 crew has this AMAZING stlye of their own. any other artist would suck at it cause it's a style that only they can master....and this CD is proof that they've mastered it well!! and, not only is the music ABSOLUTELY INCREDIBLE but the lyrics are SO like...UNDESCRIBABLY AMAZING!!

Awesome Album | Posted November 30, 2009
This album is just awesome. There are so many good tracks that I do not know where to start. All I know is that the music has great lyrics and makes you want to dance so it cant get much better than that.

I love this CD! It's so cool! My fave songs are "Our Time" "keys To The Kingdom" (insanely awesome lyrics) and "iContact" Give me more! The beat and voices are awesome. Sometimes Blanca reminds me of Jordin Sparks.

The songs are very upbeat.... | Posted October 30, 2009
The album is full of energy, that we all need so much in this crazy world. I had one of their older albums and I have to say that I liked that one better, actually; I liked Group 1 Crew better when the group was at the beginning of its career.

Love 'Em! | Posted October 07, 2009
This group is very innovative blending light rock, rap, pop, and R&B all to give glory to God. Lots of people who have never listened to Christian music before love these guys, but also learn about the love of Jesus Christ.

Great Album! | Posted October 03, 2009
This album has incredible music. There aren't any songs that "I don't care for". I frequently get "Critical Emergency" stuck in my head. It is great music to dance to. I have used it in my dance classes

This album is decent at best but could have been better. The best tracks on this album are Movin', Tonight, I See You, I Had A Dream, Live Out Loud and Living the Life. I think this album starts off really well and ends really well, the middle of this CD was just alright. Nevertheless, this is a great album

I like this cd a lot. It gives some good all around music. Upbeat, and yet has a serious side to it that is neat and makes listening to the songs more of a meaningful experience. Putting good material into your head.
