Here’s a quote from Nick in Rolling Stones: “Lines are something that someone feeds you, vines are the things that get in the way, and trying times - well, thats obvious,” explains Nick. The album isn’t quite finished yet, but the brothers tell fans to expect more ultracatchy power pop like the new cut “Poison Ivy”, a Weezer-ish tune about a toxic girl you cant resist.
Nick Jonas told Billboard: 'We're trying to learn as much as we can, continuing to grow.' Kevin added: 'The overall message is its the same old Jonas Brothers, in a sense, but we're adding more and more music, including different musical instruments that are going to add and build to the sound we already have.'
Nick said the songs on the album are 'our journal in songs, about all things we've gone through, personal experiences we get inspiration from. We've also been working on trying to use metaphors.. to kind of mask a literal thing that happens to us.'
The album features duets with pop superstar and labelmate Miley Cyrus, Gospel singer Johnny Lang and rapper Common.
The first single "Paranoid" was released in May, with "Fly With Me" and "Before the Storm" both released in June to Radio Disney.

I love this new album!
There's so many different new sounds on it.
I like the songs Don't Charge me for the crime
and Posion Ivy. Though I admit I am a little sad that the boys forget to thank God in their Thank You's, they have for every other album except this one. They also fail to at least hint at God in any of the songs, where as the other albums do. But aside from that I am a dedicated fan,
and am happy to hear the new sound, and I'm very proud of the boys. They worked really hard on this album and it's worth giving it a try, I promise you it's a much older album, and you just might like at least a song or two.

I think this is quite possibly the best cd the Jonas Brothers have ever released. All the songs have such a unique feel to them, yet the album seems so cohesive. They have such a variety of sounds in one cd. They have everything from rap, to ballads, to feel-good boyband songs. There is something on this for everyone and even if you aren't a JB fan, you would probably like at least one of the songs.
