So far the 21st Century has been an impressive one for Third Day. In the brief time since our calendars flipped to 2000, Third Day has erupted with unprecedented momentum having added another 2.4 million albums to their already significant lifetime sales, captured their first Grammy for Come Together, performed for literally millions of fans around the world and launched the Offerings series, of CDs and DVDs, one of the most successful worship series of all time.
The past three years have been an incredible time of growth as Third Day has built and solidified a fan base that embraces their music and their message. But all that's happened thus far is only the concentration of energy before an explosion. The explosion is coming!
Third Day's 7th album, Wire is produced by Paul Ebersold (3 Doors Down, Sister Hazel). Wire will remind you why you fell in love with Third Day in the first place. Third Day is and will always be first and foremost a rock band. Wire pushes their infectious trademark Southern-tinged rock to a whole new level.

This Cd is very excellent. I got this cd a few months after it came out. I enjoy songs like "Com On Back to Me" and "Wire." One of my favorites is "Rockstar." This cd is totally worth the money to hear a great band.

It’s always enjoyable when a band adds variety instead of just making the same song over and over and over and over and… you get the point. Third Day proves once again that they can belt out rockers then go flawlessly to incredible ballads. As with every TD record you can hear the amount of talent each musician has at there respective station. I’m not the biggest fan of Mr. Powell’s voice but I couldn’t picture any other singer fronting the band.

This is my favorite cd from Third Day! My favorite songs are Til' The Day I Die, Come on Back to Me, Rockstar, I Got a Feeling, and You Are Mine (not well known, although I don't know why. It's an amazing song!)
Get On The Wire| Posted April 21, 2008
Third Day has hit the Jackpot with Wire. This CD consists of 13 songs - every song is excellent ! This is the definitive Third Day CD. It starts off rockin' with "Til The Day I Die". The second song "Come on Back To Me" is just a fine song. These songs speak of the love that Jesus has for all of us while set to a great rockin' beat. "Rockstar" and "I Got a Felling" are two of my favorite songs on this CD. I never get tired of hearing them.( These songs are also great to hear live). The titls song,"Wire" is a good ballad about stepping out in your witness for the Lord."It's a Shame" is another ballad about family life gone bad. "Innocent" is a great song. Mac Powell's vocal range are on display here. IMO,this should have been released as a single on CCM radio.
If there is anyone who is not a Third Day fan, this is the CD to get. I assure you,you won't be disappointed.
This is in my top 5 favorite CD's.
